Help on portal contact us page
Organising people & events
This page is useful if your group:
Has decided to have a Portal (this setting is on the "portal - settings" page).
Has decided to show a Contact Us page on the Portal (this setting is on the "portal - settings" page).
This page defines the content of your group's public website Contact Us page. The Contact Us page:
Shows the team name in a large font at top
Shows the horizontal menu
Has an optional section of text,
video clips
, etc
Shows a list of people that can be contacted by the general public in the middle
Has an optional section of text,
video clips
, etc at the bottom
If you set the "Allow Email" flag to "Yes", the public will be able to email you via the Portal Contact Us page.
However,
team
yell
will
not
display your actual email address on the Portal.
Please do not enter email addresses into the text displayed on the Portal.
If you do, the email addresses may be harvested by email spammers and used to send you spam.
Using the
team
yell
Contact Us page, no email addresses are shown on the Portal
(making you safe from spammers) but people can still easily email you.
Initially there will be no text content in the optional top and bottom sections.
You will need to decide what you want to show on the Contact Us page.
To change the Contact Us page content, click on the Edit buttons.
A window will appear that allows you to change the content.
